4.2 The support of the Common Agricultural Policy for nature-based tourism

In collaboration with DG AGRI

4 June 2015 - 11:30-13:00

Rural development contributes to remunerating farming activities for the provision of environmental public goods and securing at the same time eco-system services. This support includes the conservation, restoration and promotion of the traditional semi-natural landscape including green infrastructures that can become new attractive touristic areas. This session will look at all aspects which are provided by the CAP support towards the achievement of nature-based tourism, in particular in Natura 2000 areas.
